Peterbilt is excited to announce a major manufacturing milestone: the delivery of its first Model 567 built at the PACCAR facility in Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada. The recipient of this landmark vehicle is Environmental 360 Solutions (E360).

Expanding Production for the Canadian Market

“Peterbilt’s flexible manufacturing strategy enables us to manufacture trucks locally in the markets in which they are sold,” said Tina Albert, assistant general manager, operations for Peterbilt. “In Canada, we are able to expand from manufacturing medium-duty trucks to now include Model 567s and other heavy-duty vehicles, including electric vehicles in the future as demand increases.”

This expanded production capability signals Peterbilt’s dedicated effort to build Canada-made trucks specifically for Canadian customers, demonstrating a strong commitment to the local market.

“We’re proud to build Peterbilt trucks in Canada to meet the needs of our Canadian customers,” Albert added.

The Significance of a “Made in Canada” Truck

The first Canadian Model 567 was built for Environmental 360 Solutions (E360), a major environmental management company headquartered in Ontario. This “Made in Canada” milestone is a testament to the dedication of Peterbilt’s Canadian Sales and the hardworking Sainte-Thérèse teams.

Expanded capacity at this facility will significantly enhance Peterbilt’s ability to meet growing demand while supporting the Canadian economy and showcasing the strength of local manufacturing talent.
